Recently a friend of mine, Julie, had a friend whose daughter recently returned to Heavenly Father after an accident in the family's backyard hot tub. I've been following their blog everyday, and I have been touched by the words this sweet mother expresses after loosing one of her daughters. When I read of this families trial, my heart just aches for them, and yet my testimony is strengthened by the love and faith she has. Her faith in Jesus Christ is very strong, and she leads a very good example for her children, family, friends, and even me...someone she doesn't even know!
Today in her blog she talked about writing down the things our children do, even if at times they don't seem cute, because we all need to "cherish the little things. For the little things are the spice in life."
I don't know this family personally, and I don't have children, but I have a family that I love very much, and I have a very loving husband, whom I love more than he will ever know!!!
I would like to take a few minutes write down, I guess, a list of thankfulness, gratitude, and things I cherish about the people that mean the most to me!

well...I could go on and on and on, but I better end this now! I am so thankful for the people that have blessed my life, and I cherish the things that we have done together and the memories that we have made. I think that the one thing that I have learned from reading Stephanie's blog is that I need to take the time and look at life through a child's eyes. I will try to look a things in a more positive light, and look at life like I am looking at it for the very first time! I will look for the beauty instead of what's wrong with it, and enjoy what I have now instead of what I'm missing! I guess we all need to realize that life here on earth is short, and we need to cherish the moments that we have now with the people we love most. Recently, I have learned that my husband's Aunt Donna's health has been slowly declining, but I am so blessed that I was able to meet her! She means so much to my husband, and I am lucky to have met such a wonderful woman that has meant so much to the one I love! My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family!
Well, thank YOU for making it all the way through my long blog...enough of my rambles!
